The journey to this performance was intense bc my hormones & body have been kicking my ass - I couldn’t do a lot of my fave moves, meaning I was really nervous in the lead-up to today. Luckily it went well ❤️🔥 I had a lot of fun with it!

This year I decided to pay homage to the 1st example of pole dancing I witnessed as a rock fan / teen: Kate Moss in The White Stripes’ video for “I just don’t know what to do with myself”.

What will BTVS look like in a world where the Trio from S6 (aka the evil yet loser tech broligarchs) are now in charge, without the Scoobies... or Willow... to keep them in check? That's mainly why I'm hopeful but scared. Maybe only Buffy can save us now.

Secondly - & that's a big 1 - series finale "Chosen" delivered a democratisation of Slayer powers via the primordial slayer weapon, so that every girl who could be a slayer will be a slayer. But how will that look like in our current world, which looks increasingly less hopeful?

Zuck: “Less censorship, more freedom.” Also Zuck: ⤵️⤵️⤵️. I hate to be that person, but I did say the Meta changes were not gonna mean less censorship of s3x-posi content. Now lo and behold (I’m just a drop in the ocean, they’ve even been banning content about abortion pills) 🤡
