More testing with a very interesting dip pen I found in Japan. Instead of a glass tip, it's a precision cut piece of stainless steel with grooves to hold the ink. This particular one is curved so you can make extremely thick or thin lines based on the angle you hold it at.

A male rock ptarmigan (Lagopus muta) in winter plumage.
Ptarmigan is from Gaelic 'tarmachan' meaning "croaker". The p- was added when people mistakenly assumed it was a Greek word.

I was experimenting some with this one. I hated coloring all those bottles, it sucked. I thought the overall pic turned out kind of neat, but also was hoping for something better. I'll keep trying though!

Amanda is an old college friend of mine whose one of the best caretakers for her birds I've ever seen over the years. Any monetary help and shares would be super appreciated to help her sweet birbs out since Mango is gonna need medication for the rest of her life.
So as we drive back to pick up Mango from an avian specialist vet 3 hours away, we have an update. What's been wrong with Mango is this:
They found that she has a heart murmur and almost certainly has heart disease. It is genetic. It is treatable, but not curable. She will need to be on 3
