I feel like people always talk about the idea of remaking games that were poorly received or just bad to try and make them good but I dunno if I've ever seen such an example of it actually happening until Yooka Replayleee and it seems so far like a massive improvement over the original

I will be shocked if this doesn't win Game of the Year. I don't care if Silksong came out this year. Donkey Kong is great from a gameplay perspective but so is E33. And Death Stranding 2 is interesting too, but E33 is just the full package

Hollow Knight definitely picks up once you can dash and navigate the areas a bit faster
Also helps that I now know what to look out for to find the map guy cause god damn is it easy to get lost when you enter a new area

I have to admit, I've not really been interested in #NoMansSky ever since it came out for a variety of reasons, but adding ship-building is definitely tempting me to get into it

Ironically I got Doorman on like my first attempt to play as him in a real game which means I still don't actually know what it's like to be ult'd by him, but I have locked away so many people in gay baby jail it's very fun
