Light from "outside" will now shine into rooms that are darker by default. These rooms will have a static darkness but will still get light applied from "outside" depending on the current day/night time. #gamedev #gamemaker #slimeonline

Messing with the day / night transition system right now. Time is based on realtime clock, but I currently simulate it by increasing time by 1 minute every frame (so 1 hour a second). Its pretty smooth and not just alpha change but actual color tint too. #gamemaker #gamedev #slimeonline

Got a lot done today. Hidden passages are in. Ping, FPS counter are in. Outfits are loaded from external files and a lazy way to swap outfits is in. Daughter of 4 years old proposed adding strong currents under water. Will definetly implement that! #gamedev #slimeonline #gamemaker #pixelart

Finally working on interactive stuff. This is a test for a savepoint. You can activate it to set the current map and position as your spawn position on relogging. Graphics r WIP #slimeonline #gamedev #pixelart #gamemaker

So I rushed things a lil and tried getting movement fixed... and something weird happened xD got it sorted out, but I thought this was hilarious so I'd share it. Made some good progress today. Movement (left, right, jump, crouch, run) is synced! #slimeonline #gamemaker #pixelart #gamedev

Not much progress today on #slimeonline. Last days I didnt get enought sleep xD I tried to get a bad version of the mockup background going. Currently fixated n looks weird. Implemented very basic room changing... but now I got all I need for the client/server #gamemaker #gamedev #pixelart
