#NW Im by no means a Superman fan (he’s my least favorite superhero…always came off as too clean for me) but this was a very enjoyable take. Gunn knocked it out of the park as usual and the film left me with a smile on my face.

Critics aren’t obligated to see every important movie before they start writing (everyone has holes that need to be patched), but they ARE required to be curious, and continue developing their expertise throughout their whole career. What can your audience learn from you if you don’t like learning?
One of the weirder things about being an old horror fan in 2025 is the sheer number of voices belonging to 40-somethings who haven’t bothered watching certain foundational titles. Why are we listening to you?

I KEEP trying to watch The Dekalog. I know it’s good, I’ve seen the first two episodes but something in my mind when I start watching says “SLEEP NOW” and I just fall asleep during episode 3.
