So I went op shopping yesters and I found the perfect zip!!! Except it's attached to a dress.
So I bought the dress. I'll take out the perfect zip, then replace it and give the dress back to an op shop.

Meanwhile I found my FAVOURITE pair of jeans a few years back - vintage early 1990s Calvin Kleins (Made in America, despite finding them in Sydney).
They fit like a GLOVE (even though they're non-stretch) and will last me forever 🤩🤩

Running out of yarn while knitting the top of the second sleeve was not idea,l and it was even worse that the colour had been discontinued! It took a good two weeks to get another ball sent from Canada, pushing out the time it took to finish this project.

I've finally finished it!!!
It has taken almost three months to complete and is by far the most difficult and complicated thing I've ever knitted, but I do love to push myself.
This is only my second time ever knitting cable... so why not do a complicated vintage cableknit pattern?? 😂

I've finally finished it!!!

I'll be sad to leave my students, colleagues and the formidable @nteumonash.bsky.social branch committee, I'm so grateful for the past 3 1/2 years. I've loved teaching the 1st year Auspol course and reshaping its curriculum to be more inclusive/diverse, and creating my beloved genderpol course.
