Seeing Curtis Yarvin tweet is like if you watch a horror movie that sets up this mysterious evil villain, and then at the end of the movie comes the grand reveal… and it’s just Alf. And you can’t help but laugh and also feel a bit let down. That’s it??

genuinely crazy to me how unitary executive advocates read the vesting clause as granting a huge scope of essentially royal "inherent" powers. one would think that if the framers intended to give the president royal authority, they would have just said so.

again, the NYT does not mention in this article that Trump was held liable for sexual assault. that seems like important context it is denying its readers.

One little optics story in all this: Trump's WH has used the optics of bill-signing ceremonies and made them EO-signing ceremonies. Members of Congress etc showing up to see him sign EOs and get the pens.

Not brand new but he's stepped it up and the image voters see is "president taking action."

yes! this dude will back down to anyone who tells him to fuck himself! this is the only response worth having!
Trump’s sputtering response to Harvard standing up to him is yet another reason why institutions should refuse to bend the knee. He’s a paper tiger, unable to argue his own case.

very helpful to democrats that one of the most unpopular people in american politics is front in center in the administration, allowing them to make the very easy case that you should vote for democrats to check elon musk.
The Democrat who just flipped a very Trumpy seat in Pennsylvania’s Senate made opposition to Elon Musk front and center in his campaign.

Marco Rubio is like having Tom Wambsgabs as Secretary of State, a man whose ambition is to be an empty suit, on board to take any stance, say anything, whatever the boss wants, and sponge up some of the pain that comes back, all for the trappings, the title, the plane rides, the suits, to be there.

Hard for me to be even-tempered about this, when I know reporters whose addresses were shared and had to briefly flee home for the crime or reporting on government agencies.
the entire conservative project is now completely on board with the hyperventilating online chud notion that reporting on someone doing something newsworthy is a form of nefarious "doxxing"

Please do not waste time hyperventilating about this dumb comment.

It’s intended to be a distraction from all of the damaging actions he’s taking.

Focus on those.
