I’m watching last night’s Late Night with Seth Meyers. Gawd. I can’t believe there would be another face that I would want to punch so much when I would see it other than felon Trump. That face? Chuck Schumer.
Because I have responsibilities, I can’t go to every protest that we have happening here in New York. I also feel a bit guilty when I (start to) have fun or feel good, what with everything going on. So I got myself some anti-Trump, anti-ICE pins from Etsy to wear daily. My own little protest.🗽

In response to this claim that the "strategy didn't work."
The people were on our side. We were building momentum to help save our democracy. We could have won - the premium increase notices were just starting.
And giving in now will embolden him. Things will likely get worse.

I really cannot imagine going to all the trouble of getting elected to the Senate only to get there and decide not to stand up for healthcare, or democracy, or people’s ability to afford their lives. If those things aren’t worth fighting for, then truly what is?

I’m feeling exhausted and angry by the senate vote, but not surprised. Something changes these people when they get to Washington. They forget who they work for. Power becomes more important than service. It’s sickening.

I know I shouldn’t complain because they are, after all, fixing the roads and making it better. That’s a good thing. But I wish whoever’s in charge wouldn’t schedule roadworks during rush hour.

Watching an episode of the original 70s #Gatchaman anime. As a kid, I loved #BattleOfThePlanets. I thought it was an American-made cartoon. It was only much later in my life when I found out it was Japanese. And rewatching “Battle” as an adult, I also found out that the U.S. dub was terrible.😂
