A friend is working pretty hard on colon cancer testing right now (he's one of those guys looking into why long distance runners get it more than most), the rates of this one really do concern me, as does my friend who has it who just had like. No fucking symptoms until it was so bad

I will say from experience touching 2 confirmed lumps, they were both hard like rocks - but one didn't align with other classic signifiers, there was not a single other giveaway, so that's why it's important the healthcare system does its job to the fullest extent

There is unfortunately a massive overlap in what's normal and what isn't, and it can have no symptoms, and it can seemingly show up overnight - even if it's been in there a couple of years. I had fibrocystic breast disease, so it was a nightmare knowing what was actually going on. It all felt wrong

Normal lumps like cysts tend to be softer/rubbery and be easy to wiggle around with a smooth, round profile. They can also change with period cycle
Concerning lumps tend to be irregular in shape/margin, much harder, and difficult to wiggle. They're more common in the upper outer quadrant/armpit

I get what you’re saying and I’m being vague due to privacy, but a lot of what I’m dealing with is sadly due to unfortunate hereditary genetics

I can’t use this printer with my laptop - it will print one sheet and the others forever remain in the print queue. I have to use a 9 year old iPad and only that works 🙃
