I love trying to explain the old book economy to people, who generally and fairly assume a random neat old book to be like £25, and not idk, £750. Don’t understand why I go yelling about this £16 anatomy book I won on eBay because 2 grand for it in a proper bookshop is considered normal

I’m sorry that very cool people and institutions follow me, expecting a level of professionalism, which they sometimes get. Then other times it’s chickens.
