I have read, that cat's started to stay near to humans, because we kept our grain harvest in storage during winter. That attracted mice and rats, which then attracted cats. The cats got domisticated this way, and that seems plausible to me.

But, why are they doing it? My cat do the same, most often if I take a nap mid day on the couch.. She jumps up, gives my stomach massage for 3-5 minuttes, until she curls up and naps with me? Why?

I do honestly, as European, think that Greenland should also go for closer ties with Canada. Greenland and the eastern canadian provinces are close, also have historical ties and Inuit natives.
It would be a great advantage for all, Canada, Denmark, EU and
by a large scale, Greenland itself.

Same here, my garden full of small birds, waiting for feeding at sunrise. And if a bit late, all "hell" brakes loose...😉.
If first starting to feed the birdies, you can not stop again. But the reward is free song all day...every day :-)

I think that it will make a lot of sense for NS. Here in Denmark
we have a lot of windmills, which (like today, with only light moderate wind) produces more power than is used here. And NS do have a lot of costline and low population.
