Made this jacket I call Wiksten Boxy Jacket cuz the designer got in a lot of trouble for appropriating Japanese culture. I put the label in the wrong spot 🙄 and the fabric is bananas (from the free table) but otherwise I like it, it fits well, easy to make except the collar

Now that my commercial yarn socks are done it's on to handspun socks. Using BFL for the toes, corriedale for the foot an opposing ply for the heels and pol/silk for the cuff

Finished my latest pair of socks. Made out of Koigu I got a gazillion years ago. The heels and toes were some other random yarn. I held a strand of mohair along with the sock yarn to try out making a more durable heel. we shall see #knitsky #sockknitting #knitting

Spinning opposing ply for socks. Spin 2 singles clockwise + another single counter clockwise. Ply all together counter clockwise. they bind together sooper well and make a strong yarn for socks. Looks weird when you take it off the wheel but after a good soak and a thwak it's all good #spinning

I finished the Montvale dress. Added patch pockets instead of whatchamacallem pockets. I think it works. Also added a label with the name/size of the pattern so I won't forget
