This is an AU version of Shadow. Set 6 years after any IDW comic. [ Sonic is 18 or 19 in the comic, making him roughly 25 in the AU. ] Shadow, having done various experiments to himself aboard the ARK, is now more Black Arms than Mobian. Having grown a foot in height and regenerative abilities with use of a special shot he keeps on hand. Deeming these experiments necessary for the sake of his goal. Regardless of pain. While his speed remains on par with that of Sonic's, his strength has been slightly increased. With his quills hardening to a scale-like quality, deflecting bullets. Though a knife or sharp object can still get through. He has taken up the title of King from Black Doom, who is still alive. Taking over the hive mind of what Arms members still exist. Though, Doom does still whisper in his mind on occasion. His rocket shoes had been destroyed in a prior raid on Robotnik's base, damaging him in the process. The cuts to his ears and the slash on his eye are from Infinite. The large scar on his left side is from the Werehog. The small thin scar is a stab wound on his right side from Mimic. [ Power scaling ] Base = roughly Super Sonic level Monster = slightly stronger Super = Unrestrained Fleetway Super This form is Shadow in a "Black Arms" state. More feral in nature with an underlying urge to consume, though he usually spits it out, finding the taste disgusting. At the sacrifice of speed. He is much stronger than his normal form. And able to use his regained Doom abilities to their full potential. If he purposefully triggered the transformation, he has more control of himself. If the transformation is forced, he has less control and is more prone to attacking anyone without discrimination.
