The pope also spoke about the challenges facing news media with the rise of AI. “Artificial intelligence is changing the way we receive information and communicate, but who directs it and for what purposes? We must be vigilant in order to ensure that technology does not replace human beings, and that the information and algorithms that govern it today are not in the hands of a few,” he said. He nominated “transparency of sources of ownership, accountability, quality and objectivity” as key to news media. “I urge you: never sell out your authority,” he said.

Every so often I read this click bait articles on student loans, even though they usually just end up telling us to make more money, stop complaining or even ask for help (like we haven't been doing that already) put this one with an AI generated and a photo really got me

There was an ad in my Google News feed for a survey on people's impressions of socialism. Check out some of these leading questions that are actively fueling the misinformation crisis.

Just finished Starling House by Alix E. Harrow.

🌕🌕🌕🌗

A lot more like the critically acclaimed 2006 film Monster House than I was expecting.

It was a spooky quick read that I enjoyed!
