not to mention, we grew up in the genesis of the sampling era.

randomly & organically stumbling across an OG song and connecting the dots??? these kids don't understand that level of marvel.

Until reparations are paid and atonement made, this country’s undoing will always have race at the center.
This country owes descendents of state-sanctioned racism (who happen to be Black) a massive debt that accrues by the day and has zero statute of limitations.
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

Easily one of my least fave things about social media; the nastiness and mob effect that takes hold is ugly AF.

social media is proof that most adults haven’t matured much past high school

god forbid someone have an opinion that’s not in line with the “popular thinking of the day”, they get jumped & bullied.

so they come here & lie… agree with whatever for engagement
Folks be getting jumped so bad on here, the skeet will be deleted before I can read what they said lmao

A ton. 80s artists too. I grew up listening to my parents play thier music and always wanted more. When I started deep diving and learning about the greats, that thirst only increased.
It made me appreciate MUSIC.
Idk why people are tripping over kids not caring about 90s music. How many 70s artists did you throw in your CD Player in 2005?

70s, 60s, 50s. a lot of it. i *still* listen to a lot of that music even as i listen to a ton of new music. people who confine themselves to listening to the music of "their time" do themselves a great disservice

uuuhhhhh… almost all of them. i was playing my parents cd’s and albums ALL. THE. TIME.

but a lot of us “old heads” grew up spending quality time with our parent(s).

kids today seem to be in their rooms all day with tvs & tablets 🤷🏾‍♂️
