OK doc, i'll quit huffing Twitter

Boston. Go C's. Love da C's.
I've been trying to have a conversation over the difference between two top-five players but you keep saying insulting shit so at this point: go fuck yourself, you pile of useless sportsballs.

Why does every time I give my opinion, you think I'm ignoring the data instead of maybe perhaps I'm giving some context behind it?

I'm aware of how rough the shooting was & what followed was seeing if there was a hitch in his shot since shooting sub 30% had a lot of folk scratching their head.

1) on the JB efficency, it's more about shot diet that made the diff

2) i'm fine with that comparison of Jokic/Wemby but with Luka/Tatum having similar averages the defense does matter a bit more.

(This is also about who's the 2nd best player during this stretch as Jokic is first by a mile)

I wouldn't say *easily better*, i would say more efficient as he was attacking the rim and using midrange much more last year than ever. He was also enjoying single coverage under most games but it's splitting hairs with how that run went.

Tatum's career as a whole in the playoffs: 24/8/5 over 110+ games in the first 7 years is as good a start to any career in the past two decades. There's full careers who haven't had that many deep runs in the playoffs was the point I was making.

Most loaded ever? That's pushing it a bit lol

Also factoring in the help portion: he was without the most important cog of that for a majority in KP who's size and post game really unlocks the team and made 0 the only real post threat throughout that run last year.

Loaded with offensive help is skewering it to what this team was in '24. '22 & '23 was not the juggernaut over the past two years. He does get overreliant on difficult shots but fine with him as the top option. It's proven effective for them.
April 5, 2025 at 9:53 PM
1. I do. And there's people who's careers haven't had 2 Finals & 5 conf finals app, while being the best player on the team. For last year being a year he didn't step up in is laughable when he showed how dangerous he is pff the dribble along with covering anybody on the court.

Well it does matter when the stat i'm pointing to correlates to all other stats: possession of the ball. Not even going off usage % since it's dependent on his teammates making shots off his passes and that's despite him having the highest usage in NBA history.
April 5, 2025 at 9:22 PM
Offball data was inconsistent to rely on as Kyrie and Luka were struggling to stay on court together. With Lebron and an offseason a better frontcourt, it'll be fun to see if he can actually play off ball.
April 5, 2025 at 9:10 PM
I did not criticize, i said look at how they play the game. But you'd have to get off Excel in order to do that!

Also kinda funny you mentioning stat inflation & not bringing that up with Luka when he has the ball all the fucking time. I do look forward to seeing how he does w/ an offseason in LA
April 5, 2025 at 9:08 PM
If you want to say JT too reliant on stepback 3's and fading mid ranges, I can get that. But saying he doesn't step up in the playoffs when he's already put up better numbers than some HOFers is wild.

As an accountant, some advice: Get off of Excel & get some fresh air. It'll do ya good.

I also gave data detailing out who the Celtics beat in 3 years when Tatum didn't play to which there was 1 team over .500 and the rest were the worst 3 teams in the league during that stretch that you also disregarded. You did the very same thing you accuse me of!

In which, g'day pissant.
April 5, 2025 at 8:25 PM
I don't know who else you arguing with & don't care. I went and had actual back & forth to which i explained how playstyles can dictate stats in which Luka is the most ball dominant player since MJ in which he had meh W-L over the past 3 years in DAL.

Aaaand then!
April 5, 2025 at 8:23 PM
I attempted to have a rational conversation explaining defensive impacts & their different styles of play. You disregarded them as troll behavior b/c you can't handle differing viewpoints. Blocking & then responding to my tweet afterward was a lame move.

Now fuck off & enjoy the weekend.
