For anyone wondering, some possible dog names have survived from cuneiform sources.

On tiny dog figurines found buried under a palace in Nineveh, Iraq are inscriptions that seem to be names.

munaššiku gārîšu “biter of his foe”

The term never felt right to me either. Sounds like a convenient way of not taking responsibility for your decisions.

I have previously run larps in New Orleans, Los Angeles, San Jose, Washington DC, Boston and New York. So much fun and so many great players. I might come back. But travelling is hard these days with a 2-year-old.

Absolutely. Children's larp is an old passion of mine and so much fun. Especially with like 2-400 kids at the same time.

Difficult question. I often bring calorie-dense snacks like beef jerky or protein bars no matter the larp, but that is not really props.

For years my go-to "I need to focus and crunch" album has been Slayer's Seasons in the Abyss. It is a behemoth of an album that attacks you so hard you cannot do anything but submit.

Lately, I have listened a lot to Tool's Fear Inoculum. Especially the track Pneuma can keep me focused.
