The first two episodes of this show dropped yesterday and they're excellent (as is Rhea Seehorn's acting). The acclaim critics are giving it is legit and I'm looking forward to where it's going. Well worth checking this one out.

It was great to meet Daniel Donato on Sunday before Umphrey's McGee closed out their run at Brooklyn Bowl! Getting a chance to later see him sit in during the first set for Hiccups and Bell Bottom Blues made for a special night I won't soon forget.

Today marks a day in my life that I had debated posting about online as it's deeply personal. I've officially outlived my father. For much of my adult life until a few years ago, I dealt with the fear of following in his footsteps and developing colon cancer (which took his life)

In my ongoing Umphrey's McGee listening deep dive, at some point years ago I stumbled across the band covering Bell Bottom Blues back in 2005. It's among my favorite songs of all time and it got played four times that year and got shelved never to be played again.
