Bitcoin was created 17 years ago to enable peer to peer transactions globally, without the need of a middleman. It's working perfectly.

Good grief, I guess he said he can send $5.00 for .03 in transaction fees, doesn't sound as exciting does it. The point is, no banks are involved, no 3rd parties. This is a good thing.

I suspect this is an example, it's more impactful to say you can send 500 million in value for $1.24 in transaction fees than sending $5.00 for .03 cents. Literal much?
