Recent survey shows the largest cohort of Bitcoin owners are “very liberal”, but there’s no correlation between political stance and Bitcoin ownership. Ownership is strongly correlated with knowledge of the subject. Once you understand it, you want to own it. No surprise to anyone who understands it

The thing that bitcoin skeptics don’t understand is - we were all skeptics at some point. But then some of us were curious enough to learn about bitcoin and gradually we came to understand its significance.

What's perhaps more amazing than $100K Bitcoin is that it was widely predicted and easy to foresee.
For reasons that must be fundamental to our DNA, most humans just do not have the patience to get through bitcoin's 4-year cycle. But if you do, you'll always come out ahead.

I don’t believe there’s any possibility of a US “strategic bitcoin reserve” becoming a real thing.

At this point, the worst case scenario for bitcoin is that it continues to be what it is now, an alternative, more fungible equity than gold, property, etc.
Best case is hyperbitcoinization.
Reality is probably in the middle but indicates tremendous upside for bitcoin.

I don’t blame people for being skeptical of bitcoin. I’ve been on this platform for less than a week and have already been spammed every single day by bot accounts and crypto scammers.
We all have to do the work and separate the signal from the noise.

The hardcore bitcoiners are on Nostr, not on Bluesky. I'd encourage anyone that's interested to open a Nostr account and mess around with it. But I came here for now because I'm hoping to be helpful to people that don't know much about #bitcoin

I've spent the last 4 years learning a ridiculous amount about #bitcoin. But I'm not a crypto bro. I'm not a libertarian. Not a zealot. Just a regular guy that knows a lot about bitcoin.
