Born and raised in Belgium/Flanders. Thoroughly Australianised. I like to observe mostly Australian "cookers" and adjacent antisocial groups from a safe distance. Fuck colonialism, bigotry and punching down. She/her.
Once read consultation submissions for a disability social housing development in an upper middle bogan suburb in Canberra. My fave was "They wouldn't be able to afford the prices at our local IGA".

Love that. But also had to laugh at the post under this one being a YouTube video from Sandwiches of History. 😆

Your attention to detail is as nuanced as that mark up.

There was fuck all immigration in 2020 and 2021. You can't be that ignorant so I'm guessing you're just simping for the filthy rich on purpose.

My 2 dogs are watching my every move, waiting for me to say the magic W word. (I checked the forecast and will have to take them before 9am today.)

Have a lovely day.

Capitalist governments prefer to shoot people in other countries and use more accepted methods to kill their own.

But when you then start quoting obscure old testament quotes back at them, they'll tell you that you don't understand their religion.

The national security hotline got a few calls last year when Cossack showed names of ADF soldiers in Ukraine on a live stream calling for the Russians to capture them just for this purpose. What a gronk.

I didn't try find the breakdown. I'm assuming that category includes investors who are owner occupiers, which would be most of them. So it'd be likely that if it was just owner occupiers who only owned that 1 property, the number that wants to see prices increase would be even smaller.

What was the point of that example when he didn't show a fail as well? Very unconvincing presentation overall.

This is the important one. That category is often referred to by politicians to argue against measures to stabilise the market:
"Two in five Australians who own their own homes, either with a mortgage or outright, want property prices to increase (42% and 45%, respectively)."

I still have liberals trying to convince me that none of this is the Democrats fault. The denial runs deep and is extremely racist.

Blaming congress is bs. Dems overwhelmingly voted for continued funding of this genocide.

Also, my brain is very tired like is the case for most this time of year, so work will get my some too today.
December 15, 2024 at 10:01 PM
I did some chores and now my back is a bit sore. I'm about to log on for work. From my bed. I do feel blessed I have a decent job that only requires my brain.

This was the worst one I saw recently. Apart from the mindboggling stupidity, I fucking hate that "you should always totally be in control of your health and well-being and if you're not, you've failed" wellness guru shit.
