They did duel, powerball, gauntlet and the wall. Then a break and the contenders did the eliminator. Radzi and Maia were great hosts. Lots of fun crowd bits too. #Gladiators

Went to the Gladiators Live Show in Liverpool yesterday. It was really great. C loved it and he was delighted to get a foam finger. All the events look much harder in real life! Powerball is savage.

Went for a nice walk around the Botanic Gardens today, they have a fun pumpkin competition. We visited our favourite tree the E Woodii, it seems to be in good form.

I'm a woman in my 40s and yet people here are speaking to me about the mittens I knit as if I was an 8 year old who did well on a spelling test. Sigh.

Finished knitting some spooky fingerless mittens for H last night. She helped design them. I love how the ghosts turned out.

In Lidl this morning and they had a whole trolly of sauces for free. Maybe they were delivered in error as they have Ukrainian on them. Got myself ketchup, sweet chilli and mustard. Delighted with myself at the bargain. 😂

Finished these socks recently but finally got around to grafting the toe today. The pattern is one I've mostly memorized and the yarn is from wollmeise. I got it in London about 15 years ago. #knitting 🧶

Finished sewing the cielo top by closet core this morning. It turned out really nicely. Lots of nice details like the cuffs and slight gathers on the sleeves. I like how the darts were placed too. #Sewing #GarmentSewing

We were at the waterfall recently but saw no wallaby. I'm fascinated. I hope the poor thing is ok. Maybe it will be caught and then it can go live with other wallabies.
