While I get that most wealth managers are fiscal conservatives, a recent chat with mine gave me chills when they repeated some of Trump’s tariff propaganda, leading me to suspect my financial advisor is MAGA. How can I trust my portfolio to someone who blindly trusts Trump’s lies?

There’s lots of crossover between the antivaxxer contingent and the “we must birth many more Christian souls!” contingent. Would it help to remind them that some of these easy-to-vax-against diseases could leave their children sterile if left unprotected by the ravages of the disease?

Are you kidding? Mainstream as well as far left Jewish groups in the U.S. sharply denounced Trump’s plan for Gaza almost as soon as he said it. Only right wing and Orthodox groups, predictably, were open to it.

The Social Security Admin and all three credit bureaus should place default warnings or freezes on every single SS# used for credit and background checks, opening utility accounts, etc. This always should have been standard protocol; these orgs have been enabling identity thieves for decades

We’ve known for a while how broken society is. Bigotry, racism, corporate greed, political corruption, ecological ignorance, etc.
If we are to create a better country we actually need times like this. Scary, yes! But only by confronting social evils head on can we hope to fix them, and progress.
