Vulnerable communities deserve protection. Many transitioned here with the hope of a safer experience. Deplatforming, not just labeling, keeps them safe.
We're used to no one caring about our corner of the world, but I'm hoping Bluesky will do better.

Many Tigrayans joined Bluesky in 2024. Now, Ethiopian media accounts that pushed Axum massacre denialism are here too. Not all human suffering will have Gaza level backlash, & a lot can happen under the radar. I urge @bsky.app to enact robust preventative mechanisms.

Yep. I was in a terrible car accident. My insurance stopped paying for my medical while we were settling with the driver. I had to meet a dr from my insurance co who then told me my lower and upper back issues weren't related. I had to get a lawyer and sue to cover my costs.

Third airstrike on Central Beirut in less than 48 hours...
A missile hit a coffee shop at the intersection of Zoqaq al-Blat & Salim Salam, near downtown Beirut. It is close to Government Palace as well as a famous French school.
This is clearly a new phase in Israel's airstrikes on Beirut and probably to put more pressure on Hezbollah to accept ceasefire on Israel's terms.
