I did the exact same thing in highschool 😂 The knowledge builds over time but tech is one of those things where you can always find a topic to dive head first into. Not knowing what’s going on is part of the charm of learning tech 💁‍♀️

For the record I had to get an AC to 12v/5v DC Molex 4-pin power adapter, then use a 4-pin to SATA power adapter, then finally connect it to a PWM ARGB hub

yo dawg I heard you liked adapters

Casual modes are pretty fun tbh. I just watched shroud’s team use one of the cards that made them yell into their mic’s for a speed boost and it was hilarious 💀💀

If you aren’t level 15 yet, can you use my invite code? 😌😌 fh50TGY7NP

Never been a fan of Apple desktop, I get the appeal but it’s not for me. I study up on Mac help docs for the sake of providing support for my colleagues but I can’t see Mac ever being a daily driver for me.

Debian is my top choice, but my environments are pretty diverse so I use a mix of Debian and Arch on my machines. When I’m introducing beginners to Linux, I always start with Ubuntu or a similar Debian distro

- Exceptional accessibility support,
- Niche Windows features depending on use case,
- Lowkey gaming (even with Proton’s advancement).

Windows might not be my preferred OS, but it has its respective use cases for businesses. It entirely depends on the needs of the business and what would work best.

- Compatibility due to the largest market share of OS users,
- Easier learning curve for on-boarding,
- Comes pre-installed on most machines,
- Ideal for beginner to intermediate users,
- Overall vendor support,
- Seamless integration with most Microsoft enterprise solutions,

It’s okay, cable management in my chassis is great but I have cords hanging all behind my desk ;w; need to get some of those LTT magnetic cable management thingies and clean it up

Sick build! Cable management needs work though 😇

I already know how to code so I’m just checking my understanding with those classes 💁‍♀️ Cyber security is already in high demand and it’s a field that I don’t want to self-teach.

Also my tech environment is actually pretty diverse 😅 My daily driver is Debian, laptop has Arch, work desktop has Fedora.

The Win10 EOL is coincidental since in my case I started school for NetEng/Cyber Security so I’ll be taking over IT gradually, but yes I hope the EOL will spark some interest in new options for companies.

Servers will definitely be last on the list, but my mind is mainly going to our stores’ POS machines. We’d save a ton on overhead with a Linux distro instead of forking over for M365/InTune/insert-enterprise-solution-here.

Also on a decision time crunch with Windows 10 reaching EOL in October

I think Hello Games is working on this, they released NMS 5.2.2 addressing some issues recently. I’ve had this issue so far on my Windows/RX7600, Debian/RX7600 and Steam Deck.

But yes, Worlds Pt.II looks so good! Gonna build a water base in a super deep ocean soon
