The “YIMBYs are just developer shills” argument is tired and reductive. The real divide is between people who want more housing and people who care more about purity tests. If Mamdani puts out a solid plan that complements growth, people will engage. But he’s not winning if Adams runs.

I’m not saying they should. I’m saying if they are consistently doing so at the same location, it’s a design or maintenance problem.
