Funny we had this chat yesterday as I just heard that Chladoňová is apparently riding Tabor and has a special clause in her contract that allows her to race CX whilst a u23 and it will be reassessed when she moves to elite

Guess it will be personal choice. They have a lot of off road riders, but only Pidcock seems to be racing off road if I remember correctly

I guess it is also a matter of semantics as I'd consider 14 CX races a pretty reduced calendar but that is coming from a CX viewpoint rather than a road viewpoint

But I think that is probably a combo of her being the best CX rider in the world, her not preforming on the road in the way they wanted, and the fact she already has a contract
I won’t be at all surprised to see her leave at the end of this contract

Reminds me of Ineos in that regard
Last year at National Champs she had a massive support crew and about 6 vehicles. They care about winning but much rather on the road than the field
Might do what Alpecin did with Herman’s and ban it if they don’t preform on the road
