I feel like higher ed has been pushing the threat of cyber attacks and stuff to justify their budgets.
So they need to keep changing and increasing the nuances to keep the money coming in while other areas get cuts.

What also drives me crazy is how many normies in Vancouver just don’t seem to care about the budget at all. Like I had a friend complain about the aquatic centre when Inmentioned well Ken Sim should have increased the budget. They were like but he’s doing a good job overall. WHAT????

The whole business thing drives me fucking mad. Since when is a business owner a paragon of all that is good and clever in our society. There are so many other career paths that I think would be better suited for public office.
