Is a grandfather, lives in Brighton, works in a high support homeless hostel (so he’s not rich but he is angry), plays jazz harmonica and has a partner living in Granada, so he goes there a lot
Is this one of those “I watched this so you don’t have to” services?

Where was this? I’m assuming in the states? In the uk I would hope that the ASA would be on to this, am I right?

I think that would be a mistake, maybe stand against Peter Kyle in Hove instead. If Lloyd Russell Moyle were to stand and take Brighton Kemptown it would make the whole city Green

Why are people getting so much more exercised about people having a bit more tax on assets with inflated values than they are about people doing very demanding high stress jobs spending half of their pay on rent - I’m one of those people and it really pisses me off

I lived on the 15th floor of a council block for 13 years and absolutely loved it. Admittedly it was in Brighton, 200 yards back from the sea with incredible views but then the same flat in south London would have incredible views too.

I think there should be a movement of concerned British citizens to sue the arse off him for the crap he came out with about London and donate any winnings to groups campaigning to combat ICE

As a hostel worker this story is horribly familiar, thank you for sharing!

Trump’s threat and Zamdani - dear Bluesky please can we have an edit button!

Good luck from Brighton - the one that’s in the UK but still has a beach! What are people’s thoughts on Trump’s to defund New York ‘when’ Zansani wins? My guess is that the courts would have none of it, am I right?

No excuse of course but I heard an interview with AW’s biographer who said he had his first sexual experience when he was 11. Abusive obviously & normalising sexualised behaviour but it happened one assumes because of who he was. Why do we put these people through this anachronistic nonsense?

The UK created the NHS in the aftermath of WW2 when it was almost bankrupt, there was a chronic housing shortage and food was rationed. But the political will was there, a better world was promised be and this was a big part of it
