If that’s your point you’re doing A LOT of direct shitting on people who have loans in your actual phrasing. I see a small single criticism of banking and the rest are focused on the people who have loans and why. If you’re criticizing the banks I’m all for it, but that’s not what you’ve said here.

I also think loans are stupid but I live in a broken capitalist society that has structured it so that’s the only way to have things that most people need.
People who treat loans like this are ime wealthy or from wealth that can no longer support their lifestyle. I’m too poor to get those loans.

I don’t want to own a house to “lord it over” anyone, I don’t want to deal with abusive landlords and maintenance companies anymore. I need a car or I won’t be able to visit my ailing parents. I personally don’t know anyone who has the attitude you’re describing.

Bly Manor is a confused show that contains a mix of some of the best and worst ghost content I’ve seen in media. My opinion remains that if Hill House and Bly Manor swapped endings they would both be excellent. As is HH is pretty good and Bly is imo skippable. But Midnight Mass, my god. My god.
