If you have a helpful ISP they could put some instructions in their order to Openreach. Most likely it'll be down to getting in contact with the OR enginer on the ground at the day of install and having a conversation with them before they start work. Most are helpful and want to do a good job.

Telcos are driven by simple economics, they want to place a drop pole where they'll be able to serve the most connections but those Code Powers come with a Code of Practice Telcos must follow -
