You'll probably see a lot of pics of my smooth fox terrier #spikethefoxie and my maremma LGD #faiththemaremma, pics of my Mazda MX-5 NB (Miata) and from life in the Northern Rivers (NSW) with @spaderunner.bsky.social
Now that looks like summer!

Glad to hear you're managing. Aging sucks, but the alternative isn't necessarily what we all want either.

We had the vet all clear yesterday. He learnt how to take the cone off, so two sites had sutures removed. Another two days of cone wearing, then back to normal life!!

We've got another week of complete immobilisation to ensure proper healing, and he doesn't understand why he has to wear a cone and be confined to his crate 😵‍💫
Hopefully things are going well for you and Janet.

Thanks Graham. Yes, he had a number of benign lipomas removed - the largest was tennis ball sized and hiding under his shoulder. A bit scary with the worst case scenario being a leg amputation. But we got it early enough to avoid that.

For me, Sydney is the greatest city on the planet, and I loved every second of 27 years I lived there. The beaches, the harbour, the climate, the access to culture, the opportunities ❤️. But rural life agrees with me more these days!

😂 I'm not usually superstitious, but when we moved here, every time we named a chicken it was taken by a quoll, fox or snake. So the only poultry with names are my hand-raised muscovy, Sandy (who now lives with the flock in her own coop) and David the Pekin, who we rescued when friends divorced.

The closest I've been to anything like that was the Aiguille du Midi Skywalk in Chamonix. But only because it was a foggy day!!

Such hypocrisy in Trump's policies!
This is my favourite bit; "It just so happens that someone had that tip and was not willing to release it until after her death,"
