Whamageddon and into #whamhalla straight only on day 4 thanks to my car radio presets resetting. Rather than scrolling to what I thought would be a safe space at Radio 3 it went to Amber sound FM of whatever it’s called. Never been out this early. VW, Amber sound, driving to Belper you will all pay.

Oldest-surviving anatomical theatre, located in Padua and built in 1594. Over the entrance is the Latin inscription: “hic est locus ubi mors gaudet succurrere vitam.” Roughly: “this is the place where death delights to help life (or the living).”

nowthenmagazine.com/articles/nea... Great article & so interesting to see that the scandal of the closure of the Dept of Archaeology remains a prominent issue. Our loyalty to the university means that we must carry on fighting for better management. @sheffielducu.bsky.social @nowthenmag.bsky.social
Nearly a thousand University of Sheffield staff say they have “no confidence” in vice-chancellor over cuts, following union vote
Staff have expressed concerns about management decisions made by Koen Lamberts and his team, as well as heavy handed responses to anti-apartheid protestors.

I’m Editor of AHI’s Interpretation Journal. The new issue is out soon. Christmas is a time for storytelling which makes the next members’ issue of Interpretation Journal somewhat seasonal.
