As a GVSU grad who was there during his stint…everyone in Allendale hated him 25 years ago. I’ve been baffled by his ascension since.

The negative echo chamber of NY sports should be studied. I’m convinced that if any of Mets/Jets/Isles won a championship every article would start with “they won, but what’s next for them? Losing Free Agents! Maybe fire coach?”

One thing about being a Jets fan…you’ll see something every week you didn’t think was possible. It really is glorious. They’ll have perfected the Acme Packers playbook by the end of the season.

Man this hits home. Every family event for us always end with a sing-along circle of “Piano Man”. My wedding in March will be the first one since he passed. Gonna be weird to have the gap in the circle where he’d have been.

NYer who lived in Michigan for 20+ years here. It’s not even close. NY and NJ are divorced parents who get along for the kids. MI and OH are throwing down at a kids party at Chuck E Cheese…

This season was always gonna be a wash. New coaching staff, no QB, talent that doesn’t fit the OC’s plans (which suck, but that’s another rant)…this was always about figuring some stuff out, getting in position to draft a top QB and hoping he doesn’t suck.
