During those eleven years I never once heard an adult talk about Star Wars other than family members talking directly to me, until I heard Randall and Dante do it. I appreciate this article. It made clear what I’ve felt all year, the lack of “idiots” to fill out the roster and keep things loose. It’s clear that the top offensive guys are wound pretty tight once they are on the field. You need a couple “golden receiver” type humans running around to offset.

If you listened to what Steve and Stearns said today and STILL think Mets are no better run than the Wilpon years, I don’t know what to tell you. Mets may never end up with a ring, but c’mon folks. Failing with expectations is better than having no hope going into spring training.

I've long said if the Democratic Party wants to run candidates who believe in nothing and peddle corporate-friendly schlock the candidate has to at least be Cool.
