Sounds awful, too...

I went to London in 1997 for the launch of the new silver arrows McLaren Mercedes with drivers Mika Häkkinen and David Coulthard. Saw Jamiroquai and the Spice Girla live at Alexandra Palace back then. It was half pop concert, half F1 event, but was still much more down to earth than this. #F1

It was always also about business and marketing. But first of all, it was about racing and technology. It used to be a team sport. Now it's a circus show touring the globe.
