Dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia and dyspraxia are the most ignored disorders when it comes to activism.

Because typos are funny, being bad at maths is mocked, messy handwriting is lazy, and being clumsy is on purpose.

My favorite one to talk about is the one who wear Hawaiian shirts for the family Christmas pictures in our garage and grew his grey hair out long in protest against Trump in 2016.

He also travels the world and collects coins and talks about his favorite pubs to my teetotaling Republican parents.
I don't need the lore behind your favorite posters... tell me about your uncles

An underappreciated improvement in the world is how YouTube comments used to be the stupidest place on the internet and now somehow the top comment is always a pretty funny joke, a fascinating episode from someone’s life, or the most heartbreakingly poignant shit you ever heard

Christian romance authors are better at edging than secular authors of any genre.
It's their whole job.

The thing about running your small Reformed church's booth at Pride is sometimes you're going toss dirty jokes back and forth with your friend working with you and then you're going to remember that the collar-wearing Episcopalians are right next door and they can probably hear you.

Happy Pride.

I feel like this photo of masked, armed men pepper spraying a pastor protecting his community is going to be a defining picture of this moment in America for a long, long time.

If you’re going to destroy the environment with ChatGPT; can you stop asking questions that experts have already written books about, and ask about unanswered mysteries like “why is there still shit on this toilet paper after I wiped my ass fifty times”.

Cancel most of your streaming services. Keep 1 or 2 at a time and rotate them out every few months to see the stuff you want to see, even if it's later on. Rent DVDs from libraries. Use the money you save to buy more physical media and go out to dinner at locally owned restaurants with your friends.

I just saw a show on Sunday where the opener had a guy shredding so hard on his fiddle that hair was breaking on his bow 30 seconds into the first song. Leaping around the stage and still managing to sing backup consistently.
Full respect for the adorable man with floppy hair, of two varieties.

Disney/ABC have a responsibility to refuse to participate in corruption.

Kimmel must be reinstated. If Disney/ABC agree to this extortion then perhaps creatives + workers should consider collective action to push back. Same w/buying park + cruise tickets if they bow.

Idk if anyone on this app is a VeggieTales fan, or if the Sky gods will let anyone see it if I just say that, but this piece I wrote last night is for you.
Asking the age old question: what if Lyle The Kindly Viking was a live action adaptation with a cast of human actors we know and love?
