The leonids meteor shower has been peaking the last 2 nights. Getting a break in the weather with some clear skies has been a challenge. Darn weather being uncontrollable!

That is what I am doing as well. Kids are grown, so it is time for my interests now. I didn't quite get what I wanted this year, so I blended 2 of my shots to get this.... next year. I'll nail it 😀

The tools that restore yesteryear. These are used to repair and restore aging pieces of historic value in German castles, manner houses, and public buildings. I got to tour this fabrication shop owned by my wife's cousin. It was a rare treat.

Here comes the sun for another beautiful summer/fall weekend at the lake. The Canada Geese just flew over as the go for breakfast. They are the signature sight and sound of Spring and Fall asleep they herald a change in the season.
