Portland, like Chicago, has been a longtime target of the right and there is nothing happening there to remotely justify this deployment.
If ever there was a time not to normalize Trump’s authoritarian fever dreams, this is it.

I feel kind of defiant lighting Hanukkah candles the last couple of years because of how many people have insist that to be Jewish means closing your heart to the suffering being inflicted on Palestinian people, and I could not disagree more.
