I don’t know if you can explain everything about Musk by remembering he is a product of apartheid, but, in re: pop culture. South Africa did not have television (a choice by the government) until the late 70s and had precisely one channel until 1985.
it's just incredible that the man understands absolutely *nothing* about pop culture. he's totally illiterate when it comes to understanding memes or movies or music or anything else. the bobs in the movie were not, are not, and were never intended to be a) popular or b) correct
