I don't think I even realized at the time that I'd kind of mimicked this classic shot from The Big Lebowski while I was dressed as The Dude for Halloween in 2019.

Absurd placement of the anniversary patch here thanks to the stupid advertisement on the right side of the chest. The opposite side has to be left open for the captain and alternate captain letters, so there's not much of a choice here. I hate ads on sports jerseys.

BONUS: I'm including a design for the opponent in this year's series as well! This Akron concept blends their current identity with retro elements from their history. The current A logo is encased in an oval as a nod to the Zips helmet designs from 1966-1985.

This design is inspired by the Husker uniforms of the 1970's, the only era in which the jerseys featured shoulder loop striping. The classic interlocking NU logo and Nebraska script round out the retro design.

I think my craziest life story is the time I performed a wedding at Red Rocks with only 5 minutes notice. The officiant didn't show up and I'm ordained to officiate in NE. I quickly researched if I was qualified in Colorado and then wed a couple I'd only met once before.

We know the jerseys will be white, black, gray, and military green. The black sweater is the only one we see a striping pattern for.
