I agree with you that + and - should be "more" and "less", just that some people (through no fault of your work) tend to assume "more" = "more good", and that said reasoning may be a limiting factor on the impact of your viz. Just a lack of inertia to break that conception inherent to some metrics.

While I personally get what "+4%" means here, I could see somebody looking at the initial post and conflating +4% with a positive impact of 4%, believing a positive number is a positive impact. Perhaps that's due to the title being "[player] Saving" instead of "[player] Goals Allowed" or whatever

A lot of video-game publishers spend hundreds of millions of dollars chasing after "realistic graphics" and "massive open-worlds" when what players really want is just a shitload of weird little guys
