Recently made a baby surprise jacket. Always great fun, if mind-bending! Did a crochet seam at the shoulders and icord all the way round to match.

And once again my grandmother's button box produced the ideal buttons. I swear that tin is magic! #ShowMeYourKnits

Why do I do these things to myself? Middle of a heatwave and yesterday I did my mandatory fire safety training. Now today my 🧶 crochet project is fire themed!

Off to take a break to eat ice cream and think cold thoughts!

I've made three jumpers for my dad, but can only find pics of two. I knit the grey one first, and have spent the last 9 years getting plenty of darning practice because he wears it so much! For the blue one, I used a Tin Can Knits pattern but designed the colourwork myself. #ShowMeYourKnits 🧶

My two latest finished objects, given together as a birthday gift. Really enjoyed the fiddly crochet, though there was some cursing throughout. And I'm loving bookbinding!🧶
A white crochet bookmark. Pattern is a skeleton lying in a coffin. A handmade notebook. Cover is pink, with a gold leaf repeating pattern. Spine is sewn using coptic stitch in pink thread.
