But will daddy Stroll drop Lance 🤷‍♂️, we all know he's beyond the level of his ability. Maybe Checo will be dropped by RB early next year, but wasn't there some bad blood when he left RBR for Renault.

Sometimes it's better just to be there driving a lesser car than taking a sabbatical year out. It's what happened to Button & Barrichello in '09, and look how that turned out 😉

I can understand, but the way it happened unfortunately coincided with a distinct lack of vacant seats this year. Carlos faced a year on the sidelines or drive for a smaller team (I still can't get used to Williams being one of the smaller teams, they were the leaders in my youth).

Makes sense in some ways, Carlos didn't have many options available & Williams need a safe pair of hands, in the last couple of years they have spent precious funds repairing crash damage that could have been spent improving the car, maybe Carlos will be the catalyst to see Williams bounce back.

Hope Gunner gets well soon, as for the culprits may they rot in hell.

I don't think Lando is the finished article yet, he's undoubtedly quick, but seems to lack the 'killer instinct' that past & present champions have, Russell is similar. It will be interesting how Lewis goes at Ferrari next year, I have high hopes but am ready to have them dashed.

Long time Williams fan (since '79) and Mclaren but only post Senna & Prost era, over the years I've followed all British drivers and many non-Brits too. Particular favourites over the years our Nige, Riccardo Patrese, Kimi & Seb. Of the current crop Lewis, Lando, Oscar and Carlos are faves.
