Watched the 2025 Deathstalker tonight and it delivered what I wanted (sword vs monsters) and more (a climactic skeletons kicking each other in the groin fight). You know if this is your kind of movie, too. Way to go again, Steve Kostanski!

Tomorrow, Sat. 11/8, a murderer’s row of talented comic book creators will be signing at REVENGE OF COMIC BOOK BLOCK PARTY! I’ll be there 1-2pm, but folks will be signing ALL DAY! Comics! Pinball! Live interviews! It’s gonna be a blast. Way better than your other plans (sorry, your other plans).

Drew Struzan was THE movie poster artist. He made these characters legends just as much as the movies themselves. My condolences to his family and friends. Here is his Raiders of the Lost Ark, which I was lucky enough to have hanging in my office when I was at Lucasfilm Animation.

One of my favorite bands of the past decade, Worriers, played their final LA show last night. Fantastic as always, sounding intimately anthemic. Sad that they’re wrapping up, but thank you to @worriers.bsky.social for the great music and wishing them the best on their next creative pursuits.
