B. Hamilton
@bhamiltonwastaken.bsky.social
Musical act from Oakland, California.

Ryan, Raj, Ian.
Spotify asked us to record a 30 second “year in review” clip for our fans, or whoever is listening to us without necessarily enjoying it. Like inadvertently being around a dull breeze, or any form of bird.

We made this and they didn’t accept it. I'm going to call the police.

Here is a video and a link to it. We’ll throw the entire session out soon. Stephen Miller is a bitch.

Bay Beats, through the San Francisco Public Library, has graciously decided to accept three of our releases over their past three entry periods. Their new selections are up as of today. This is what music sounds like in a place with weed supermarkets.

@marcmaron.bsky.social is this solo a Billy Gibbons rip off? We’re divided.

B. Hamilton is opening a Hardly Strictly Bluegrass afterparty for The Mekons this Saturday at The Make Out Room in San Francisco. It is also a benefit for Sweat Relief upon looking at the flyer. Nice. They are very influential and know what John Peel’s vocal mics smelled like.

Tomorrow.

August 15th, at the make-out room in San Francisco.

A city so in debt to psychedelia that they let a company called “pets.com” hobble the largest economy in human history while tourists from far reaches of the globe ate soup out of loaves of bread and stared at an island-prison. Far out, man. ✌️

Apple refuses to recognize the word "Lumineer" because they've repeatedly failed to recognize suspenders as viable clothing to hold up trousers. Shame on you, Apple. Do better.

Nine slides of bullshit about the song “Downey” from our new record is now on our Instagram page.

I’d post it here but BlueSky only allows four photos because people love arbitrary rules. It’s like a weighted blanket, or kenneling yourself. Toodles.

Just rewatched “The Wind that Shakes the Barley” for the first time in a while.

Favorite scene is still when Cillian Murphy screams “ITS BARLEY SHAKIN TIME BABYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY” and mows down a bunch of Buckingham Palace guards with a Gatlin gun.

Were playing this show next month. Ok.

Our new record “B. Hamilton” has been out for about two months at this point.

This is a post congratulating a bunch of numbers on a data server in Lahore for turning two months old.

The GoFundMe for vinyl pre-orders is still kicking. We’ll do a release when we get them back. 🫡

“Release the Hounds.” More on this later. Keep doing cool stuff like hanging out on BlueSky in the meantime.

This is a scrap of something I wrote on Friday and a bunch of videos I took with my telephone throughout the past two years. Very creative.

Have a very nice weekend. 👍

“Douglas.”

Now available on all streaming platforms. Even those we hope will fall apart and turn into the “pets.com” of this era.

The other singer on this one is Grace Cooper. Go listen to her music.

There is a GoFundMe in our bio to help get the record pressed.

Thanks for listening.

7/26 mid-day show at Kilowatt in the Marxist open-air opiate market and non-binary American flag-burning commune known as “San Francisco.”

Hello BlueSky. How about Corey Booker, eh? All that standing and shit. What a revolutionary. If the Sandinistas only knew to do that they wouldn’t have been in such a pickle.

Here are a bunch of words about “Release the Hounds” from our new record. Thanks for listening.

I found this on a USB stick sewn into a MAGA hat with a hand written note in Chinese begging @marcmaron.bsky.social for help.

“B. Hamilton” comes out this Friday.

It is a 12 song record. We are a band called “B. Hamilton.” That means its a “self-titled” record. Led Zeppelin did this four times.
