They’re cleaning out an apartment across the street from my windows. This means that two guys are throwing furniture out of a 4th story window, onto concrete, at 11pm at night. I thought they were only throwing metal chairs but I just heard glass shatter

In October, statewide news reported that a sheriff's deputy in Texas searched thousands of Flock cameras in Washington for 'Had an abortion, search for female.’ New documents obtained by RANGE show Spokane County Sheriff's Office cameras were accessed in that search:

I’m drawing inspiration from kooky conspiracy theories and pseudoscience and pop culture nonsense around things like pyramid energy, ancient aliens, and sex pyramids for a project. But I don’t actually know that much about that stuff. Does anybody know anything that I should look at for inspiration?

Been catching up on the most recent season of the Bad Gays podcast and I really can’t recommend this pod enough. Extremely refreshing to hear gay history from an academic, leftist, but still fun and bitchy perspective.

None of these NIMBY “tree advocate” orgs give a flying flip about improving the City’s tree canopy, they just don’t want poor people living near them and use trees as a weapon.
Who can help me understand how Tree Action Seattle meets the requirements to be a @seattleparksfoundation.org partner? This designation allows TAS to receive tax-free donations and significant bolstering/legitimizing from the SPF association, yet requires no donor accountability from TAS. (1/?)

Hey drivers, I know that driving is really hard and there are a lot of rules, but did you know that if you plan to stop for a pedestrian crossing at a stop sign, you’re actually supposed to stop BEFORE the stop sign, not drive into the middle of the intersection and then stop and wave me on??

It sucks that that person who got fired by the Stranger for massive breaches in journalistic integrity and then started a news website that also had a scandal where they spread misinformation and made people yell at librarians is doing so well on tik tok with political videos I largely agree with :(
