Spanberger as a statewide candidate in Virginia makes sense just like Mamdani as a citywide candidate in NYC makes sense. Their end goals are more similar than different.

Also Spanberger’s victory speech sure was about affordability including many of the same issues advocated by Mamdani, including with Virginia’s centrality in data center/energy conversation!
