Since providing a DL as part of a traffic stop is not a search, giving your phone-borne DL isn't giving LEO permission to search the phone. Even with a search warrant, LEO has to limit the search to only those things in the warrant.

0.4% is roughly 1/2 the death rate in the US. That suggest the 0.4% is the normal number of dead people enrolled in SNAP at any given time regardless.

The household survey is an instrument to measure unemployment. There is no point in attempting to divine the information it would have produced using other means. It is like attempting to determine what weight your broken scale would say based on measuring your waist.

I seriously doubt that the people who drafted the 14th A believed that people from Span related cultures would be considered a 'race'.

Yes. It is some sort of human trafficking scheme. Consider that Trump got something like 1.5% of the total number of H2 visas.

H2 are for jobs Americans won't take. These are likely the seasonal positions that require some sort of temporary 'do-whatever-we-tell-you-to-do' type work.

OPEC has been around for decades because they have a proven record of controlling the price of oil. Countries that rely on oil exports well understand the entire energy market. Something like a shift to renewable energy isn't going to take them by surprise. www.reuters.com/business/ene...

All true. It is just that the USG isn't 'giving' $20 billion. The move was to stabilize the economy so Milei could win elections. The $20 billion gives Trump some kind of leverage over Milei most likely it has to do with the private $20 billion which probably extracts wealth from Argentina.

No. OPEC controls production to keep oil prices high. If the demand for oil shrinks then OPEC will cut production to keep the price of oil high. Gas prices only went down during covid because oil production couldn't be cut fast enough to make up for the drop in consumption.

This idea of 'training' people as a means to transfer complexe technology is plain laughable. Businesses but entire companies to get access to technology and only a handful of companies actually are able to leverage some portion of that technology into their business.

Yes and no. The subcontractors were doing installation then some training on how to operate the equipment. No American was being trained at how to develop the tools or even how to use them in a manufacturing process.
