My wife and I just got back yesterday from Europe to visit several Christmas Markets, and the only thing we brought back was a box of 12 macaroons because we don't want to mess with tariffs at all. It's a shame because there were plenty of handcrafted things worth buying.

A local TV station says only local and state police were involved, which would make the case non-Federal. Also ICE says he's on admin leave, plus they mentioned he was a Biden hire, so it doesn't sound like they're going to help him out.

Unless the Feds busted him he'll be out of reach for pardoning. That would be up to MN Governor Tim Walz instead.

American Airlines has sucked for years, and I have family who are current or retired AA employees. They've sucked at least since they took on USAir. They will continue to suck until they can Isom, which they are unlikely to do. I'm glad I can fly United instead, they suck much less.

We have Alexa, but I keep it covered like a cover over a bird cage so it stays quiet. We have it play jazz during dinner and that's it. I'd get rid of it entirely but the wife likes that it plays random jazz sets.
